Logo Design
During my time in a silkscreen independent study, I was asked to create a logo for West Liberty University's Visual Communication Design program.
Goals
Incorporate elements that visually represent visual, communication, and design in a unified manner.
Communicate with multiple professors to ensure ideas are understood and be able to receive beneficial feedback.
Final Results
The majority of the elements within this logo that convey the intended ideas are not immediately obvious to the non-designer, with the exception of the eye. The use of the crop tool as a frame and the crosshair within the eye express the digital aspects of design elements desired for this logo. The arrow looping around the eye and creating the main eye shape is to signify the communication aspect, one of the most important parts of being a designer.
